Buddhist mobs overran a pair of mosques and set hundreds of homes ablaze in central Myanmar on Tuesday, wounding at least 10 people. Residents said as many as 400 Buddhists rampaged through Okkan, about 70 miles north of Yangon, the nation’s main city. The unrest was the first reported since March, when Buddhist-led violence swept the town of Meikthila, killing at least 43 people. The regional police chief, Win Naing, said at least 10 people were wounded Tuesday.
